Local book launch last night for “The Ariadne Connection” at Village Books in Fairhaven. Gave a slideshow of my Greek travels and research for the novel, a short excerpt reading, and sold and signed books. Here with Lonnie Schang and Bob Mitchell, with my 92-year-old dad Neil sitting.Thanks to owner Chuck Robinson for the continuing wonderful support at the bookstore. I also got a nice full-page book review from the regional Bookmonger, Barbara Lloyd McMichael: “Beyond the physical characteristics of place, Stamey creates a convincingly chaotic dystopia with populations of desperate players.”
