The Rambling Writer Visits Thailand: Preview

And now for something totally different: Thor and I make our first trip to Asia — the beautiful country of Thailand. Some preview photos here!

Your jet-lagged rambling writer is still absorbing all the rich experiences of our three-week trip, and we’ll see more details in upcoming weeks. (After I finish the promised coverage of our Crete trip with the Iraklion Archaeology Museum.) For now, a glimpse of the sights from Bangkok to Koh Samui to the jungle wilderness of Khao Sok to Phuket and the Andaman Sea. Hold onto your hats!

Signing off for now as we finished a happy day touring and swimming around the sea stacks of the Andaman Sea. We hired Med and his longtail boat for the day. His sweet smile is typical of the gracious and friendly Thai people.
